Course Overview

RIIMPO305F – Conduct coal stockpile dozer operations

This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to operate a dozer to perform stockpile operations.

The course applies to those working in site-based roles.

You or your employer must give us access to the machine to conduct the training and the machine must in be in a working, operational and safe condition and meet with manufacturer guidelines and specifications.

You will learn how to operate a dozer to perform stockpile operations. and how to conduct safety procedures concerning  dozer operations.

Plan and prepare for stockpile dozer operations
Perform stockpile operations to complete work activity
Operate stockpile dozer in line with established requirements
Conduct housekeeping activities

Pre-requisites

Have a current white card
Have a good understanding of the English language
Have access to the machine on a live work site

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, you must possess basic literacy and numeracy skills. You may be required to complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) indicator prior to enrolling.
