RIIMPO338E – Conduct rigid haul truck operations

Haul trucks covered in this course are off-highway trucks and may include: diesel-mechanical, diesel-electric, rigid body, articulated and belly dump. This course is appropriate for those working in mobile plant operator roles and at worksites.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to operate, load, haul and dump materials using a rigid haul truck.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, you must possess basic literacy and numeracy skills. You may be required to complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) indicator prior to enrolling.
