Course Information for Students - Gold Coast Training Facility

Attire: Please wear long pants and closed shoes to your training session. High-vis clothing and steel-cap boots are not required for non-High Risk courses, but they are recommended for comfort and safety.

Online Theory: If you are enrolled in one of our blended training courses, you must complete your online theory prior to your course practical. For further details on this and about your course, please check the Booking Confirmation you were sent at the time you enrolled and should you need to clarify anything, don't hesitate to contact us on the details below.

Course Payment: * A reminder that all fees must be paid prior to the commencement of training. Payment can be made direct from your tax invoice or by emailing a valid purchase order to goldcoast@civilsafety.edu.au. Please note - if you are unable to attend this course please contact us at least 48 hours before your course to reschedule or cancel your booking to avoid any relevant cancellation costs. If you need to cancel or reschedule a high-risk course, we require a minimum of 1 week's notice. Our refund policy can be found on page 12 of our Student Handbook.

Catering: We provide fridges and freezers where you can safely store any food and/or drinks. Our lunchroom is equipped with several useful appliances, including a sandwich toaster, microwave, kettle, and filtered water dispenser. Additionally, we offer complimentary coffee, tea, and biscuits for your enjoyment. If you'd like to grab a snack, we have a snack box available, and you can make payments with either cash or EFT.
If you're looking for more food options, Cafe Molendinar is just a short walk away and is open from Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 2 pm. They offer a diverse menu of food, drinks, and coffee. For those attending evening or weekend classes, we recommend bringing your own food as Cafe Molendinar may be closed during those times.

Course Location: Our Gold Coast training facility is located at 5/4 Resources Court, Molendinar 4214. There is car parking available within the complex, as well as plenty of street parking. You can find us situated at the far end of the complex. As the complex often receives truck deliveries, we kindly ask that you park your vehicle in the designated spaces to ensure safe and unobstructed access for all.
