Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ)

CSQ funding supports eligible Queenslanders in the building and construction industry by providing subsidised training to develop new skills, gain qualifications, and advance their careers in areas where the industry needs workers most.

Career Start

Career Start provides eligible Queenslanders with government-subsidised training to help them begin a Certificate III qualification, and potentially an apprenticeship or traineeship, selected from priority or emerging industries.

Construction Training Fund (WA only)

Funding for people working in construction in WA who want to upskill and/or undertake short courses.

Funding Options Available

School Based Apprenticeships

School-based apprenticeships and traineeships (SATs) allow high school students to combine paid work, learn new skills and work towards a recognised qualification while completing their secondary schooling and studying for their QCE and/or OP score.

VET in Schools

Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VETiS) is a program that enables students to gain nationally recognised qualifications while at school. Students learn skills and knowledge required for specific industries.

Indigenous Skills Employment Program

ISEP is a government funded program empowering Indigenous Australians with nationally recognised skills.
