Course Information for Students - Mackay Training Facility

Attire: Please wear long pants and closed shoes to your training session. High-vis clothing and steel-cap boots are not required for non-High Risk courses, but they are recommended for comfort and safety.

Online Theory: If you are enrolled in one of our blended training courses, you must complete your online theory prior to your course practical. For further details on this and about your course, please check the Booking Confirmation you were sent at the time you enrolled and should you need to clarify anything, don't hesitate to contact us on the details below.

Course Payment: * A reminder that all fees must be paid prior to the commencement of training. Payment can be made direct from your tax invoice or by emailing a valid purchase order to mackay@civilsafety.edu.au. Please note - if you are unable to attend this course please contact us at least 48 hours before your course to reschedule or cancel your booking to avoid any relevant cancellation costs. If you need to cancel or reschedule a high-risk course, we require a minimum of 1 week's notice. Our refund policy can be found on page 12 of our Student Handbook.

Catering: We have a fridge/freezer available to store your lunch/drinks. The kitchen/lunchroom has the following available for use to prepare your food with microwave, kettle, filtered water. Coffee, tea and biscuits are provided. A Mobile food van comes around 11am. Alternatively, smoko food is available, or there are fast food restaurants available in town less than a 5 minute drive away on Nebo Road.

Course Location: Our Mackay training facility is located at 27 Iridium Drive, Paget QLD 4740. There are plenty of parking spaces available at the front of our building.
