High-risk work licenses are valid for 5 years. Upon expiration, it is necessary to renew the license, a process that can be completed through the WHS Queensland website.
- If your high-risk work license has expired, you won't be recognised as a licensed operator until it is renewed.
- You are granted a 12-month window to renew the license; however, if this period elapses, you'll need to undergo both the written and practical exams again.
- It's important to note that a Verification of Competency (VOC) cannot be conducted on an expired license.
