Course Information for Students - Townsville Training Facility
Attire
Please wear long pants and closed shoes to your training session. High-vis clothing and steel-cap boots are not required for non-High Risk courses, but they are recommended for comfort and safety.
Online Theory
If you are enrolled in one of our blended training courses, you must complete your online theory prior to your course practical. For further details on this and about your course, please check the Booking Confirmation you were sent at the time you enrolled and should you need to clarify anything, don't hesitate to contact us on the details below.
* A reminder that all fees must be paid prior to the commencement of training. Payment can be made direct from your tax invoice or by emailing a valid purchase order to townsville@civilsafety.edu.au. Please note - if you are unable to attend this course please contact us at least 48 hours before your course to reschedule or cancel your booking to avoid any relevant cancellation costs. If you need to cancel or reschedule a high-risk course, we require a minimum of 1 week's notice. Our refund policy can be found on page 12 of our Student Handbook.
Catering
We have a fridge/freezer available to store your lunch/drinks, while the kitchen/lunchroom is equipped with facilities including a microwave and kettle, available for your convenience. Tea and coffee are provided. Should you prefer, a variety of quick snack options are available from a selection of fast food outlets close by on Boundary Street, less than a one minute drive.
Course Location
Our Townsville training facility is located at 79 Perkins Street West, South Townsville 4810. There are plenty of parking spaces available directly outside our building.
