Introduction:
Elevate your team's safety and ensure regulatory compliance with our Enter and Work in Confined Spaces course, a comprehensive training program designed for professionals navigating the complexities of confined space work. This nationally recognised course combines expert-led instruction with practical exercises to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for safe, efficient operations in confined spaces. From risk assessment to emergency procedures, our course covers all essential aspects, making it an invaluable investment in workplace safety and professional development.
Funding Available
You may be eligible for Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) funding. Please check the eligibility HERE to see if you qualify for funding. Alternatively, you can contact Civil Safety at info@civilsafety.com.au or 1800 248 457 to speak with a staff member to see if you qualify.
Successful completion
A Statement of Attainment is issued to participants who successfully complete all the required assessment tasks, have paid in full and have supplied all required supporting documentation.
Course Validity and Refreshers
The Australian Standard AS2865-2009 recommends the renewal of your Enter and Work in Confined Spaces statement of attainment every two years. A shorter period may be required where industry/company requirements are applicable. Individuals can refresh their competencies anytime within the two-year period in line with these industry/company-specific requirements.
Target Audience:
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, you must possess basic literacy and numeracy skills. You may be required to complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) indicator prior to enrolling.
If you have any concerns regarding the literacy or numeracy requirements, please contact student.services@civilsafety.edu.au for advice.To qualify for our this Refresher Course, students are required to provide a notarised copy of their existing equivalent ‘Enter and Work in Confined Spaces’ qualification/ statement of attainment.
