Civil Safety Named RTO of the Year at the 2026 Australian VET Conference Awards

The award highlights Civil Safety’s commitment to delivering high-quality training, strong industry outcomes, and meaningful student support.

The recognition came after a competitive selection process involving industry judges and votes from conference participants. According to feedback provided to Civil Safety following the event, the organisation’s submission and achievements stood out strongly among finalists.

“Civil Safety were voted by the majority and the judges gave us some amazing comments and points in regards to your finalist form. Congratulations again!”

Civil Safety CEO, Robert Kerridge, said “To say that we are extremely proud and honoured would be an understatement. Every one of our employees and contractors has played a role in achieving this milestone. This award belongs to all of you, and it’s something we can celebrate together.”

Recognition from Industry Peers

The Australian VET Conference is one of the leading gatherings in Australia’s vocational education calendar. Each year it brings together training providers, educators, industry leaders, and policymakers to share insights and recognise excellence across the VET sector.

Winning RTO of the Year at this event reflects not only the strength of Civil Safety’s training programs but also the impact the organisation has had across the industries it serves. Being selected by both judges and peers reinforces the value of the organisation’s practical, industry-aligned approach to training.
