RIIMPO320F – Conduct civil construction excavator operations
This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to operate excavator operations to lift carry and place materials. Thie course applies to those working in site based roles.

This Excavator course will also qualify you for jobs in:
Transport
Mining
and agriculture.

This is a popular course with jobs in high demand. The holder of an excavator license is highly sought after in the construction industry. This qualification opens up a wide variety of building and construction jobs.

You need to be at least 16 years of age to undertake this course. Other than that there are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, you must possess basic literacy and numeracy skills. You may be required to complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) indicator prior to enrolling. The course alone does not provide sufficient skill to independently load and unload equipment. To perform this activity safely, personnel must either complete or be assisted by someone who has completed RIIHAN308F Load and Unload Plant or equivalent.
