Our combined Perform Rescue from a Live Low-Voltage Panel (LVR) and Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) refresher course is designed for workers who have previously completed the relevant training and need to refresh their skills and maintain currency.
This face-to-face refresher course covers:
Safely performing a rescue from a live low-voltage (LV) electrical panel
Applying appropriate electrical rescue procedures and techniques
Performing CPR on adults, children and infants
Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Responding effectively to electrical incidents and medical emergencies
Applying current emergency response and workplace safety procedures
With hands-on, practical training delivered by experienced Trainer Assessors, you’ll refresh the skills and confidence needed to respond quickly and safely when an emergency occurs.

Refresher - 2 Course F2F Bundle - Perform Rescue from a Live Low-Voltage Panel (LVR) & Provide CPR - Course Information
The combined Live LV Panel Rescue + CPR refresher course is designed for workers who have previously completed the relevant training and need to refresh their practical skills and maintain competency.
You’ll refresh your skills in:
Live LV Panel Rescue
Reviewing workplace procedures for electrical safety, isolation and emergency response
Identifying electrical hazards and assessing risks associated with live LV panels
Safely performing a rescue from a live LV panel using the correct equipment
Applying rescue techniques while maintaining personal safety
Communicating and coordinating effectively during an emergency
Following relevant workplace incident and reporting procedures
CPR
Performing CPR on adults, children and infants
Safely operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Managing an unresponsive casualty
Applying infection control procedures
Assessing an emergency situation and responding to life-threatening conditions
The course includes hands-on practical training and assessment to help you maintain the skills and confidence needed to respond safely and effectively to electrical and medical emergencies.
Training and assessment are delivered in line with current Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines and relevant workplace safety requirements.
How often should you refresh your LVR and CPR training?
Refresher requirements can vary depending on your qualification, employer, industry and site requirements. CPR training is commonly refreshed annually, while LVR refresher requirements may be determined by workplace or site-specific procedures.
Always check with your employer or relevant site authority to confirm the refresher frequency required for your role.
Course Delivery and Assessment
In order to provide you with the best learning outcomes possible, this course is delivered via face-to-face training. You will be assigned an experienced Trainer Assessor for support throughout your course.

Workers required by their employer or site to maintain current LVR and CPR competency

Course Outcome
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for:
HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
UETDRMP018 - Perform Rescue from a Live Low-Voltage (LV) Panel
This certification is nationally recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and can support applications for higher roles in safety and compliance.

Entry Requirements
To enrol in this refresher course, students must:
Have previously completed the full UETDRMP018 - Perform Rescue from a Live Low-Voltage (LV) Panel and HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) courses.
Be at least 16 years of age.
Have sufficient language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills to complete the training and assessment.
Have basic computer skills and internet access for enrolment and communication.
Hold a valid Unique Student Identifier (USI) - mandatory for all nationally recognised training. If you don’t have a USI, you can apply at usi.gov.au or we can assist.
Evidence of previous training may be required at enrolment.
