The Scaffolding Advanced – Verification of Competency (VOC) provides a site-aligned assessment of an individual's ability to safely and competently perform advanced scaffolding activities in accordance with workplace procedures, relevant legislation, Australian Standards, and industry requirements.
This VOC is designed to verify existing skills and knowledge through a structured assessment and compliance-based verification process, ensuring participants can demonstrate their ability to plan, erect, alter, inspect, and dismantle advanced scaffolding systems, select and inspect scaffolding components and equipment, interpret work instructions and scaffold designs, apply appropriate scaffolding techniques, identify and manage workplace hazards, communicate effectively with work teams, and implement safe work practices. It confirms competency against the safety, operational, and legislative standards required for advanced scaffolding activities across mining, civil construction, infrastructure, resources, and industrial workplaces.
