The Conduct Operations with Integrated Tool Carrier (RIIHAN311F) course equips you with the practical knowledge and skills to safely and effectively operate an integrated tool carrier across a range of civil construction, mining and worksite environments. You’ll learn about:
Legislation & Compliance: Understand WHS requirements, site procedures and your responsibilities as an integrated tool carrier operator.
Hazard Identification: Identify workplace hazards including uneven terrain, ground conditions, overhead and underground services, traffic interactions and environmental conditions.
Integrated Tool Carrier Equipment: Learn about the machine’s components, controls, capabilities and limitations, including the safe use of approved attachments.
Pre-Operational Checks & Maintenance: Conduct pre-start inspections, identify faults and complete routine checks before and after operation.
Attachment Selection & Use: Select and safely attach, remove and operate suitable attachments for different work tasks in accordance with manufacturer and workplace requirements.
Safe Operating Procedures: Operate the integrated tool carrier safely and efficiently while completing tasks such as material handling, loading, carrying and placement.
Load Management & Stability: Understand load limits, load distribution, machine stability and safe operating practices when handling materials.
