Eligible apprentices, trainees, workers and business owners in WA’s building and construction industry can save up to 70% per course (metro) and 80% per course (regional) with CTF funding. As an approved bulk billing provider, we handle the paperwork and claim process for you – so you only pay the gap while you upskill, get licences, and complete safety courses.

Civil Safety is proud to be an approved bulk billing provider for the Construction Training Fund (CTF) in Western Australia.

We handle your CTF claim for you – only pay the gap fee!
As one of the few RTOs in WA approved for CTF bulk billing, we apply your funding instantly so there’s no paperwork, no direct claim required and no waiting.

How much can I save?

Eligible students can save up to $1,700 per course through Construction Training Fund (CTF) funding. Funding is available to support training that helps you:

  • Update or advance your trade skills

  • Gain or renew occupational licences

  • Complete essential Workplace Health & Safety short courses.

The funding supports both workers and employers by ensuring WA’s construction workforce remains skilled, compliant, and ready for future projects.

How many courses can I claim?

You can claim CTF funding for multiple approved courses – as long as each course meets CTF eligibility requirements.

Who Can Claim?

CTF rebates are available to:

  • Apprentices and trainees

  • Existing construction workers

  • Business owners

  • Self-employed tradespeople

What Factors Impact How Much I’ll Receive for Upskilling and Short Course Training?

Rebates for approved upskilling and short courses vary between metropolitan and regional areas. The maximum amount an employee can claim for construction-related training in the metropolitan area is $1,300 per course.

For training undertaken regionally, the maximum rebate is $1,700 per course. Please visit the CTF Levy & Disbursements Guide for detailed information about how rebates are calculated.

Am I Eligible for Funding?

Your eligibility for funding will depend on your ability to demonstrate primary and substantial, direct involvement in relevant projects in Western Australia’s construction industry. Specifically, this includes on-site construction, installation and/or fabrication activities. Click on the Check my eligibility below to apply for CTF funding.

If you have any questions about CTF funding, please call our team on 1300 248 457.
