Civil Safety is proud to announce the relocation and grand reopening of its Mackay training centre, now in a brand-new, larger facility designed to better serve the region’s growing demand for high-quality, industry-ready training.

Strategically located in Paget, the upgraded Mackay training facility offers a more spacious, modern and fully equipped environment tailored to support students across a wide range of industries, including mining, civil and construction.

The upgraded Mackay facility has been designed with practical learning at its core. Featuring more training rooms, breakout areas, and dedicated practical training zones to support a wide variety of training programs, from high-risk work licenses to safety compliance.

With expanded training capacity and improved infrastructure, the Mackay facility is now better equipped to support individuals looking to upskill, enter the workforce, or meet compliance requirements across multiple industries.

The new facility continues to deliver an extensive range of nationally recognised, accredited and non-accredited courses, including:

  • High-Risk Work Licences – Forklift, Elevating Work Platform

  • Mining –  Standard 11, BMA Core Induction, G189 (formerly S123) Mining Supervisor

  • Construction – Skid Steer, Excavator, Roller, Working at Heights, Enter and Work in Confined Spaces, Gas Test Atmospheres, First Aid/CPR, Conduct Civil Construction Wheeled Front End Loader Operations

All courses are led by our experienced trainers with real-world industry knowledge, supported by modern equipment and a strong focus on compliance, safety and employability.
