Save on Training with CTF Funding

Civil Safety is proud to be an approved Construction Training Fund (CTF) bulk billing provider in Western Australia.

Eligible apprentices, trainees, construction workers, self-employed tradespeople, and business owners can access significant savings on approved training courses. With CTF funding, you could save up to 70% on metro courses and 80% on regional courses.

Best of all, we take care of the claim process for you. As an approved bulk billing provider, we apply your funding at the time of enrolment, so you only pay the reduced gap fee.

We Handle the Paperwork

Training should be straightforward. That's why we manage your CTF claim from start to finish.

With Civil Safety, you'll benefit from:

  • Instant application of eligible CTF funding

  • No claim forms to complete

  • No reimbursement waiting periods

  • Reduced upfront course costs

Simply enrol in an eligible course, and we'll do the rest.

How Much Can I Save?

Eligible students can receive up to $1,700 in funding per approved course, helping to reduce the cost of professional development and mandatory industry training. Please visit the CTF Levy & Disbursements Guide for detailed information about how rebates are calculated.

CTF funding can be used for training that helps you:

  • Update and expand your trade skills

  • Obtain or renew occupational licences

  • Complete essential Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) training

  • Stay compliant with industry and site requirements

The program supports both individuals and employers by building a skilled, safe, and job-ready construction workforce across Western Australia.

Can I Claim More Than One Course?

Yes. Eligible participants can access CTF funding for multiple approved courses, provided each course meets the relevant CTF eligibility criteria.

Whether you're maintaining existing qualifications or building new skills, CTF funding can help make ongoing professional development more affordable.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for a Construction Training Fund (CTF) rebate, you must:

  • Be primarily and substantially employed in WA’s construction industry

  • Complete your training course face-to-face in WA*

  • Undertake training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)

  • Pay the course fee in full and successfully achieve competency

*Some exceptions may apply - please contact us for more details.

Please note: CTF funding is only available for students who successfully complete their course. Rebates cannot be paid for courses that are not completed or where competency is not achieved.

Who Can Claim?

Construction Training Fund (CTF) rebates are available to a wide range of people working in Western Australia's construction industry, including:

  • Apprentices and trainees

  • Existing construction workers

  • Business owners

  • Self-employed tradespeople

How to Claim

Civil Safety is a CTF bulk billing provider, which means we handle the entire claim process for you.

If your CTF funding eligibilty is approved:

  • The CTF contribution will be applied directly to your invoice in line with CTF requirements.

  • You’ll only pay the gap fee (the course cost minus the CTF subsidy).

  • You do not need to submit a claim to CTF yourself – we take care of it on your behalf.

This saves you time, paperwork, and ensures your funding is applied immediately.
